Rotary Club Meeting 19 February 2019

Welcome

President Ranald welcomed all members to this Club Forum/Visioning meeting.

Toast

Bob Farrar proposed a toast to the Rotary Club of Delhi Midwest, Delhi, India, a club of 31 members from which club the 2020-21 president-elect of Rotary International, Sushil Kumar Gupta, hails.

Announcements

John Turner facilitated an update from each of the Club Directors on the status of their Vision projects, despite protests from some members that "Visioning" was not a word usually associated with the English language.

Sergeant's Session

Malcolm Lye then had an unusually long 15 minutes in which to conduct a Sergeant's session and was highly successful in filling the coffers. Of particular note was one member who paid up for not only being reminded of a forthcoming 49th wedding anniversary, but seeking confirmation of the actual date!

Guest Speaker - there was no guest speaker this week.

1). Is it the TRUTH?
2). Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3). Will it build GOODWILL & BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4). Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
